MILITARY DETAILED SPECIFICATION
DESSERT POWDER, PUDDING, INSTANT
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of
Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers flavored instant pudding desserts prepared by mixing the
powder with reconstituted nonfat dry milk. The product is intended for use by the Department of
Defense for operational rations and as an item of general use.
1.2 Classification.
Flavor 1 - Chocolate
Flavor 2 - Vanilla
Flavor 3 - Butterscotch
