COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
BEVERAGE, NONALCOHOLIC, CARBONATED (GINGER ALE)
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has authorized the use of this commercial item description by all Federal agencies.
1. SCOPE.
1.1 This Commercial Item Description (CID) covers the requirements for beverage, nonalcoholic, carbonated (ginger ale), packed in commercially acceptable containers, suitable for use by the Federal Government.
2. CLASSIFICATION.
2.1 The beverage, nonalcoholic, carbonated (ginger ale) shall comply to one of the options in the following list, which shall be specified in the solicitation, contract, or purchase order.
Types.
Type I – Beverage, nonalcoholic, carbonated (ginger ale)
Type II - Beverage, nonalcoholic, carbonated (ginger ale) dietetic, sugar free
3. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS.
3.1 Ingredients: the ingredients shall be of high commercial quality.
