f. Export unit loads. Shipping containers shall be arranged in unit loads in accordance with Type I, Class A of MIL-L-35078. When unit loads are strapped, the strapping shall be nonmetallic.
G. Labeling (commercial and export). Labeling of packages shall be in accordance with good commercial practice and be in compliance with the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and regulations promulgated thereunder.
H. Marking of shipping containers (commercial and export). Commercial markings for shipping containers are acceptable, provided the following information is included:

Item Description
Quantity, Unit of Issue
Date of Packaging (month/year)
Contract Number
Inspection/Test Date
Name, Address, and Zip Code of Contractor
I. Marking of commercial and export unit loads. Commercial and export unit loads shall be marked on two adjacent sides with the following information:

Number of Containers per Load, Quantity per Container, Unit of Issue
Commercial or Export Unit Load (as applicable)
Date of Pack (month/year)
Inspection/Test Date
Contract Number or Purchase Order Number
Name, Address, and Zip Code of Contractor
Gross Weight (including pallet weight)
Cube
When the markings on one or more individual shipping containers are exposed on two adjacent sides of the unit load, a minimum 3- by 5-inch white label shall be applied on the same two adjacent sides of the load. The label shall be marked (letter size not less than 1/2 inch) with the following information:
Number of Containers per Load
Commercial or Export Unit Load (as applicable)
Gross Weight (including pallet weight)
Cube
